Prompt #2: “If you could zoom through space in the speed of light, what place would you go to right now? The twist – organize your post around the description of a setting”.

When reading the subject itself, my mind could actually fantasize many different places all at once – a featherweight version of heaven, a classic visual of black and white film noir, oddly also, the Mesozoic era of dinosaurs (yes, I used to dream sitting on Apatosaurus’ robust body), which assures now that I have been living myself better in the dreams.
Amongst them all, I picked the strongest sight – A Red Maple Leaf.
The moist, burgundy leaf fell delicately onto the page of a book held in my hands. My heart leaped a little and my head tilted up to the sky. I flipped my front hair sideways across the forehead as the gentle breeze of air touched my skin. From beneath the shade, I could now see a better view of the big, deciduous tree, firmly trying to hold its rainbow leaves. The mixture of bright green hue, buttery yellow, scarlet red and amber orange seemed to be perfectly blended.
My lidded eyes glimpsed to the right; catching a sight of passer-by along the beautiful, homely park. The Northern Red Oak, Boston Ivy, Mountain Ash trees were standing gracefully as if they were welcoming your presence. Some walkers were comfortable by themselves, and some, I perceived, were lovebirds walking with swinging arms. I observed kids laughing and chasing each other, I saw an anxious man carrying a dozen of roses and I admired an elderly couple enjoying their picnic basket together. My view was later ushered to another corner, where a young girl was lying on the grass reading a novel and her friend was stroking a paint brush on a plain canvas.
The pieces of comfort, serenity, happiness and wholehearted feelings and moment were connected and framed into one place.
The red leaf was put aside, assuming I could use it as a bookmark. On my left, there was a 5-year-old boy resting upon a rustic, wooden park bench – amused by his vibrant toy car. I leaned my head against his soft, brown hair and gave a kiss on his fluffy cheek. He had that quizzical face, but with a cheeky smile. At that moment, I could feel as if I have escaped from the ordinary.
